Krissy and Rob’s story starts the way all great South Bay love stories should—on the sand. They met at a beach volleyball tournament called The Gillis where they played together for the first time!

Over the past 10 years (with a few twists and turns along the way), their connection kept growing deeper. One of their first dates perfectly sums up their dynamic: Rob confidently took Krissy to what he claimed was one of the best Mexican spots on the Westside… only for them to arrive at a nearly empty restaurant decorated with SpongeBob piñatas. Krissy quickly recovered the night by taking him to Que’s, where she beat him in foosball—setting the tone for a lifetime of friendly competition.

Rob is loving, protective, strong, endlessly competitive, and a great dad who loves making Texas style BBQ. Krissy is fun, caring, supportive, and just as competitive. Rob may have the edge in volleyball, but Krissy dominates the board games and cards. Krissy can be a little all over the place at times, dreaming big, juggling a million ideas, and sometimes bouncing from one thing to the next—while Rob is the one who grounds them, bringing steadiness, and structure that balances everything out perfectly. 

Together, they love hosting friends, spending time at the beach, biking the strand, and cuddling up for movie nights.
